my journey

For the first time in my life I am living by faith.

Not by power, nor by might

What do you do when you’ve tried everything?

You’ve said all you can say?

You’ve done all you can do?

You let go and let God…because “the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s.”

I’m trying. God knows I’m trying. He sent me this message via Joel Osteen Sunday morning:

(paraphrasing) “Nothing should be so important to you that you need it, except God. You should not obsess over anything. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t want something. You can even pray for God’s favor in acquiring it. But then that’s it. Let God respond in his own way in his own time. Maybe God has something bigger and better than what you’re even desiring.”

I hope so.
